Grounds
Medford Quaker Graveyard
Nestled within the tranquil embrace of Medford, the Quaker Graveyard stands as a profound testament to the enduring legacy of the community. This ground, intricately woven into the rich tapestry of Medford Quaker Meeting’s history, cradles the final resting place of those who have indelibly shaped the fabric of this close-knit society. Weathered by time, the headstones silently bear witness to the passage of centuries, recounting the lives lived in harmony with Quaker principles.
Maintained by Medford Friends, this revered site is one of three cemeteries under our care, with two located in Medford, NJ, and one in Winslow, NJ. Visitors are warmly welcomed to wander among the humble headstones, each one a poignant chapter in the collective narrative of this resilient community. As they reflect upon the enduring spirit that unites the Medford Quaker Meeting across the vast expanse of time, they honor the profound connection to those who have gone before us.
